About ICF Atlantic
The ICF Atlantic chapter was established in 2011. We have always had an active volunteer Board of Directors which guides the activities, educational offerings and promotion of the profession on behalf of the membership. The chapter began with a handful of New Brunswick coaches forming a provincial chapter in 2010, followed quickly by a decision to expand membership to coaches in all four Atlantic provinces. This resulted in the name change to ICF Atlantic in 2011.

Founded in 1995, the International Coaching Federation (ICF) is the leading global organization dedicated to advancing the coaching profession by setting high standards for ethical conduct and coaching competency, providing independent certification, and building a worldwide network of credentialed coaches. ICF seeks to advance the art, science, and practice of professional coaching.
ICF has more than 40,000 -member coaches in 145 countries. Approximately 3,200 of those are Canadian coaches and approximately 80 of those reside and work in Atlantic Canada.
